Thriller notation


Definition of a thriller- A thriller is a genre of fiction that attempts to thrill the audience by putting the character or characters at risk.
There are no clear ingredients of what a thriller should consist of.
Thriller is regarded a problematic genre.
Thrillers can be categorized by fast paced editing and action heroes who out wit the villain also devises such as red herrings and cliff hangers are liable to be used.

Thrillers usually take place in exotic places foreign cities deserts etc.
The hero is generally a normal person.
Thrillers usually overlap each other for instance mystery stories, however thrillers usually work on a much grander scale e.g. big crimes, mass murder etc.

This theory talks about that the poetry of modern life- Everything is relaxed and mundane. Thrills are in place to excite modern normal life.

The hero is usually a normal person who behaves extraordinary when placed in difficult situations. He/She is romanticised also the laws of nature are suspended the hero always ends up in a modern environment and romantic settings

Maize’s and labyrinths

Maize’s are used in relation to a thriller with lots of twists and dead ends.
If a hero is to go down an alley and gets lost the villain appears there when you least expect it.
Maize’s are supposed to be complex keep the audience guessing.
The identity of the thriller should appear apparent as the thriller progresses also the audience receive pleasure from problems being prolonged.

Suspense should present.
The thriller should always make the audience think.

conclusion of seven

october 25th today the class and i finished the thriller seven in which i hightened my knowledge of the complexities of a modern day thriller
